Maxis - Company Profile Maxis is a branch company of Electronic Arts, and is mainly responsible for the Sim games you see out there. Although they did not develop the original Sim City, (that was done by Will Wright, although Maxis did publish Sim City 2000) they went on to publish similar sim games, such as Sim Copter, Sim Tower, Sim Isle, and, the ever-popular life sim, The Sims.
