I had my wisdom teeth out yesterday. Being all freaked as hell and such I thought I was gonna be in absolute pain and feel like **** for a while. Fortunately the sedation wore off almost immediately, the freezing's all worn off, and I have nearly no pain unless I try to open my mouth real wide. lol
Missing out on the focal point of thanksgiving dinner really is going to suck, though.
So... anyone out there old enough to have gone through the glorious ritual of wisdom teeth removal yet?

I would be old enough to go through this wonderful phase in life. BUT.. I was blessed with 2 sets on top, which I still have to get taken out.
Be glad it's over. :P

2 sets on top? Seriously?
Not only did I have to deal with my wisdom teeth, but now I'm dealing with Dry Socket where the bottom two were. Now I've got two medicated dressings with bad-tasting ointment on them and they shall stay there until Tuesday.

I was 20 when I had mine out. (This was about five months ago, mind you)
