At the title screen hold C and press Start. Then, pause the game while playing and press any of the following keys:

Gain an extra life.
Y
Gain an extra medal (10 medals gives you a continue, but you must earn the 10th medal without this cheat).
Z
Gain all Chaos Emeralds.

Sonic 3D Blast Change Views in Special Stage - Submitted By: lufiaguy
Just before Sonic gets a Chaos Emarald, press X to "freeze" the view. Through doing this you will see Sonic grab the Chaos Emarald in that view point!
Sonic 3D Blast Extra Life in Diamond Dust - Submitted By: lufiaguy
Go across the ice river at the beginning of the level, to the ice sickles. Use a Sonic Spin to break the ice and duck down into a hidden tunnel.

At the beginning of Rusty Ruins there is a door behind you. Do a spin attack on the door, and find an extra life behind it!
