Animal Crossing Description:
|
|
Released in 2002 after being anticipated for a long time, Animal Crossing started a brand new genre in gaming. Although other games, such as Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, had events based off of a real-time-clock before, this game is based solely off of it. Players in this "life simulation" could create up to four characters to play with in their randomly-generated towns, and communicate with each other and the town's other characters, run errands for them, or even write between each other. You could even travel to a friend's town on another memory card, and when you get back, it will be added to your "region", and each town's characters may move between the two towns. The result is a game that has never-ending playability.
