The NokiaN-Gage is a handheld console and a mobile telephone, which used the Nokia 3650 as a base. It was released in the US on October 7, 2003. Nokia created the N-Gage when they noticed that several gamers began to carry both a mobile phone and a Game Boy in their pockets. Nokia attempted to combine the two devices but also included MP3 and video playback, and wireless multiplayer through Bluetooth or the internet.
